I think this is a romantic gesture - yes, i am being sentimental now. But this place was right outside the Namsan tower, Seoul. There was a small terrace of which.. well, fences, had been covered up with small locks like this. The lock had usually a message with it as well - an expression of eternal love etc.

I found this english message among all the korean ones and i thought this one made such a pretty photograph.

It was disturbing though that all the other people there were couples. We three single finnish girls felt like outsiders. It hurt our hearts because we all wish to have a loved one someday.

Oh, locks like this in Rome too? I've been to Rome but i didn't see anything like this there. But yeah, this fence had.. LOTS and lots of locks, it was pretty wild, haha. But anyway, yeah, i'll keep hoping that the man of my dreams will appear someday, thanks!

also in Paris, France on one of the bridges, but i didnt get to see it close up because I was on the boat but I know it was ALOT of locks. i guess its everywhere in the world. :]

ahhh this reminds me of We Got Married Khuntoria's Ep 1. xD when the couple went up to the highest floor. there was something like these too.

like, love messages written in heart-shaped notes. ♥ really sweet.

yeah, in the highest floor of Namsan tower there are also messages like this but they were written on notes and other stuff. Namsan tower is, i guess, one of the most famous places for couples to visit. xD

oh and btw, my dad will go to Korea on a business trip in Sept!

well, obviously i can't go along w/ him, that makes me sadddddd. ;A; i may ask you for some advices on where to eat good food, since dad has a great appetite. lol.

oh wow, that sounds so good! tell your father to bring lots of goodies to you, heh~
i think he really should try the street food in korea, it's safe and extremely delicious. but restaurants are very good as well, i fell in love with jjajangmyun and dwaejikalbi, both very delicious!
